Hub Bookings
The hub is an accessible venue supporting the diverse needs of our local community. The hub provides a valuable meeting space and can be booked by local community groups, support services and organisations who are undertaking activities or provide services in line with our focus areas and which deliver benefit to the local community. We are an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
This Guide provides further details on booking the Community Hub
The Hub is mostly suitable as a meeting space and training venue. It’s also suitable for some activities such as art, craft, group learning and some low intensity physical activity (such as yoga). The suitability of your activity for the Hub space will be at the discretion of Hub staff. If the Hub is not a suitable venue, where possible we will direct you to other available venues. Community groups, organisations and businesses need to read and agree to the ‘Hub User Agreement’. Ultimately the Hub is here to support uses which foster community connection, support the needs of the community and are inclusive.
Note: Hub bookings are subject to room availability. Bookings are not available during scheduled Hub closures (e.g., over Christmas and/or for Hub cleaning).
Meeting Spaces Available
The Community Lounge Space – An open environment meeting environment of approximately 100m2 with kitchen facilities
Capacity – 40 people
Features – Lounge, chairs, tables and chairs in the kitchen area, kitchen facilities, play space for pre-school children (must be supervised), whiteboard (subject to booking), projector (subject to booking).
The Hub Board Room – An enclosed board room of approximately 16m2
Capacity – 12 people
Features – Enclosed meeting room, Meeting table and chairs, access to kitchen with tea/coffee provisions, whiteboard (subject to booking).
The Hub Small Consulting Room – A small meeting room of approximately 12m2
Capacity – 6 people
Features – Enclosed meeting room, small meeting table and chairs, lounge, access to kitchen with tea/coffee provisions.
